Product Overview
This closed type galvanized steel decking is roll formed from hot dipped galvanized high strength coil in thicknesses from 0.6 mm to 1.5 mm. It serves as permanent formwork and as tensile reinforcement for composite concrete slabs in steel framed, concrete framed and mezzanine floor construction.
The closed rib seals the top of each rib, so the sheet gives a flat continuous steel face at the slab soffit and rejects wet concrete from the rib voids. Thickness and zinc coating are selected with the structural design: thin sheets for short span and light loading, heavier sheets where the slab spans further, carries heavy imposed load or must span without propping.

Thickness Selection Guide
0.6 - 0.8 mm: short span floors, mezzanine infill, light loading with propping
1.0 mm: general office and commercial floors with standard mesh
1.2 mm: longer spans and higher construction load, less propping
1.5 mm: heavy industrial floors, plant areas, car park decks, long unpropped spans
The gauge is fixed by the composite slab calculation. Send span, imposed load and concrete grade and the calculation sets thickness, rib height and mesh.
Galvanized Coating Options
- Z60 - Z100: internal floors in dry service conditions

Technical Support and Delivery
Each order can include profile selection with a composite slab calculation check, shop drawings with sheet layout and cutting list, an erection guideline covering lifting, laying sequence, side lap and end bearing, and a packing list with container loading plan. Sheets are bundled by profile and length with edge protection and lifting marks, then loaded into 20 ft or 40 ft containers in the sequence the contractor needs on site.
